A New Life New Beginning.
I’m Lisa and live in Berkshire with my partner Chau and my beloved cats, Nigel and Alfie. Actually maybe I should swap that around as Chau knows he is the last in the pecking order in the house after the cats! Sorry Chau!
Chau and I love the quite life and country living, walking, running, walking, running and a bit more walking! I’m family minded although have a small family but its quality rather than quantity that counts and my pets make up the numbers! I am an avid reader, charity shop shopper and people watcher (translation to just being nosey)
I have now learnt that how I think about myself and what others think about me is quite different. I think I am quite, sensible, just normal with the odd bout of supreme lack of confidence. However these are not the words my friends and family would describe me, generally the opposite and maybe you may think that too after reading my blog ☺
I have gone through life facing a few challenges that have made life a little more difficult at times. My addictive nature, eating disorder and OCD have knocked me on occasions but not for long. Over the years I am getting to grips with dealing with them and allowing them not to impact my life anymore. Sometimes easier said than done! The mind is a powerful force to be reckoned with and I am learning to make it work in the right way for me!
Anyway – enough of that!
Things just seem to happen to me and I just don’t like hanging around so I tend to say yes to anything and then deal with the outcome afterwards, it seems to have worked for me up until now – well most of the time!
I am now in the position in life at the young age of 45 to settle down and reflect on a bit of a whirlwind decade which now I look back on it has been one to remember for many reasons.
I am looking forward to taking time to write about my experiences, passions, challenges of life as my head is getting too full of thoughts so it’s time to empty my mind onto 'virtual' paper so I can fill it up again with more adventures to come!
I hope you enjoy and maybe sometimes relate to my posts!

Please note - grammar and apostrophes are not my strong point so please turn a blind eye when you read my posts. Thank you!
